Information on Cambodia :
The complex of Angkor Wats and temples in Siem Reap is one of the seven wonders of the world. The architecture, with the influences from the old civilizations and religions of neighbored countries, especially from India, are the most breathtaking masterpieces of the ancient Khmer people. Like the Pyramids of Egypt, the complex of Angkor Wats and its temples will certainly fascinate you, and open you to new art, religions, and age old cultures.

Meanwhile, Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia, is also an old city. But deciding whether Siem Reap or Phnom Penh should have been the capital of the country caused much bloodshed. Phnom Penh has been the capital of this kingdom in recent centuries. It is the largest city with nearly 2.5 million residents. Tourist highlights to Phnom Penh include the Royal Palace, National museum, Silver and Gold pagodas, and war crime memorial, which examines the extermination practices of the Khmer Rouge regime (1975-1978).
